Photography and I share a deep and honest friendship, which led me to New York in 2010. Shootings on top of the roofs in Harlem, the trailer shooting of the Musical "Welcome to Harlem", working at the set of independent movies, portraying talented actors and musicians were only some of the photo projects from back then. In New York I re-discovered the fascinating genre of street photography, which has since been an invariable in my artistic work and analysis of time and place. I am excited to find out, what New York City has in store for me this time around. 

I love and admire the work of Anton Corbijn, Steve McCurry, Robert Frank, Leiter and Friedlander, but Vivian Maier and German photographer Barbara Klemm hold a special place in my artistic heart.
